Welcome to Mrs. Jarka's Ocean Gate Art Class!
This is the place where you will find general information about Art class. This site will guide all grade level classes as well as quarantined learners.
Art classes are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (Tuesday: 1st, 3rd, 5th, PK. Wednesday: 2nd, 4th, 6th, K).
If you would like your child to have a smock, please provide it. Art will be conducted in the regular classrooms this year.
Art Google Classroom will have Zoom information in case it is needed.
Seesaw also has good art activities for the younger grades.
The dollar store has basic art supplies, but feel free to use what you have already if you need to. When a student attends class from home, please have a scissor, pencil, crayons and markers, and paper ready in case we use them during class. Sometimes art assignments might be sent home with other schoolwork when a student is attending school remotely. Other times, the student will be zooming during the live art class through the regular classroom. Stay tuned as we meet the challenges of another unique year. You will be kept informed as we go along.
