Ocean Gate Elementary School was well represented last evening as we had two students honored for their Illustrating America Art Work Project that they completed with Ms. Jarka in class for the VFW Auxiliary National Contest. According to Dana Pitts, the VFW Youth Activities liaison with Post 9503 in Bayville, the concept of the contest is basically what does America mean to you? What represents America in your eyes, or how do you see America?
Ocean Gate had two students selected for their art work. Madison Sansing in 6th Grade finished in 3rd Place and Audrey Jordan in 4th Grade came in 1st!
