Our Pre Schoolers had the best time running through Mrs. D's obstacle course as a part of their exercise study yesterday! Both classes had a chance to run the course while our 4th, 5th and 6th Graders cheered them on with hand made posters. It's safe to say everyone had a blast!!
Dear Gator Families-
We are looking to move forward with a Pre K-6th Grade Yearbook this year. It will be put together with our Yearbook Club under the direction of our 6th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Flesch. Since this is the first time we are embarking on this endeavor, please indicate on the Google Form provided if you would be interested in purchasing a yearbook at the end of the year. The cost will be between $10- $15. Your participation will be helpful for us to know how many to order. Thanks in advance!

During Read Across America week, we will be hosting a Book Bingo on Thursday March 6th, 2025 at 5:30 and 6:00. The PTO Book Fair will be open for purchase! To ensure we have enough supplies for everyone to join in please let us know if you will be coming by 2/26/25. Principal Newsletter for 2/17/25- Reminder Friday the 14th is an early dismissal day and we are off on Monday for President's Day.

The PTO Meeting originally scheduled for this evening has been postponed until next Thursday, February 20th.
Due to the winter weather, Ocean Gate Elementary School will be closed on Wednesday, February 12th.

As of 6 pm this evening, due to impending weather, Ocean Gate School is currently on a two hour delay for Wednesday, February 12th. Please continue to check the website and stay tuned for notifications with additional information as the forecast unfolds. Student report time is currently 10:30 am with breakfast service at 10:15 am. There will not be Y Kids Before Care tomorrow.

Dear Ocean Gate Families,
We will be operating off of the daily schedule with our normal dismissal times for Pre K- 6th.
The Y Kids program will also be operating with their normal schedule and times as well.
We are cancelling the after school tutoring program for today.
Ocean Gate Families- please note that we will make a decision if we need to go to an early dismissal schedule due to the changing forecast by 8:30 am tomorrow morning. We just wanted to send notice in the event that it does go in that direction with 12:50 pickup. Thanks and we will reach out tomorrow am.
