The Ocean Gate Veterans Association wanted to make everyone aware that there is going to be a Memorial Day Ceremony at 1 pm in town on Monday, May 26th. The school is closed but students are welcome to join and bring a flower in honor of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. The service will be held at Veterans Memorial Park.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Grandparents/Special Persons Day event! It was wonderful to share our small piece of paradise with all of you! From breakfast to each class singing a song to classroom visits, everyone was smiling ear to ear! A huge thank you to the Ocean Gate New Jersey Education Association for putting on such a loved and amazing event!
Our April House Meeting focused on caring and communication skills as the students made cards for an organization that send cards to children who are in the hospital. Each house worked on the importance of verbal and nonverbal communication as well as working together to accomplish a goal. Students continue to display the 6 Pillars of Character daily!
The April meeting for the Ocean Gate Board of Education will take place on Tuesday, April 29th. The meeting will open at 6 pm, with Executive session immediately following until 6:30 pm. We LOVED having extra gators for a day! We celebrated Take your Child to Work day before spring break! Our extra gators participated in various activities throughout the day including ending the day in an Easter Egg Hunt! 🐊💚
Thank you to the Ocean Gate Garden Club for inviting our Kindergarten through Second Grade to attend the Arbor Day Celebration. Together they planted a new tree and each student planted sunflower seeds to grow their own sunflower plants at home! 🌻🪴
The Ocean Gate Green Team had an opportunity to partner up with the Ocean Gate Garden Club last week as we were getting our garden planters ready for the season!
