Field Day Postponed-
In light of the recent rain and the chilly forecast for this evening and early tomorrow, we have made the decision to postpone our Field Day activities tomorrow and reschedule them on Thursday, May 29th. Thank you for your understanding!

Parents,
We just wanted to make you aware of two weather related items. The Statue of Liberty trip with our 6th Graders has been postponed from tomorrow the 22nd of May until Monday, June 2nd. Ms. Flesch will reach out to those parents in 6th grade with any additional information.
We will also make a decision regarding the status of our Field Day this upcoming Friday, the 23rd by 12 pm tomorrow and will share that information with you. The forecast has continue to change so we will make the call then if we need to postpone and will provide a rain date at that point as well. Everyone please hope for sun!

Please see the attached letter for Field Day 2025 which will take place next Friday, May 23rd (early dismissal- 12:50).

The school is closed but students are welcome to join and bring a flower in honor of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. The service will be held at Veterans Memorial Park.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Grandparents/Special Persons Day event! It was wonderful to share our small piece of paradise with all of you! From breakfast to each class singing a song to classroom visits, everyone was smiling ear to ear! A huge thank you to the Ocean Gate New Jersey Education Association for putting on such a loved and amazing event!

Our April House Meeting focused on caring and communication skills as the students made cards for an organization that send cards to children who are in the hospital. Each house worked on the importance of verbal and nonverbal communication as well as working together to accomplish a goal. Students continue to display the 6 Pillars of Character daily!
